299 W. Campus Drive (Sherman Fairchild Bldg.), 2nd floor, Rm. D250

From Hwy 101: take the Embarcadero exit, (make sure to take the West Embarcadero sub-exit - toward Stanford). Continue straight on Embarcadero; Embarcadero becomes Galvez Street after it crosses El Camino. Keep going straight until you hit Campus Drrive, then turn right. Continue on Campus Drive pass Palm Drive and park in parking structure 1 (left side) on the corner of Campus Drive and Roth Wy. Fairchild building is east to the parking. You have to pass Clark building to reach Fairchild building.

From Hwy 280: take the Sand Hill Rd/ Stanford University exit. Follow the signs for Sand Hill Rd. East.  Proceed straight on Sand Hill Rd. past several lights and a merge, then turn right on Stock Farm Rd. Follow Stock Farm Rd. until it ends at Campus Drive West, then turn left. Continue on Campus Drive West until Roth Wy and park in parking structure 1 - (right corner of Campus Dr. and Roth Wy). Fairchild building is east to the parking. You have to pass Clark building to reach Fairchild building.

From Mountain View & nearby locations: if you can easily get to Central Expressway, Central Expwy is the most direct way to get to the Stanford Campus. Take Central Expressway towards Palo Alto (North). (At some point, Central Expressway will become Alma Street.) Keep going on Alma until you pass Homer Street, then watch on the right for the University Avenue/ Palm Drive exit that will take you to Stanford. The exit will take you around and under Alma. Try to get in the left-hand lane, as the right hand lane becomes a right-turn only lane in a couple of blocks. Follow Palm Drive straight until you hit Campus Drive, turn right. Park in the parking lot (structure 1 or the lot on the other side of street) at the corner of Campus and Roth WY. Farirchild building is east to the parking. You have to pass Clark building to reach Fairchild building.

***As an alternative to Central Expressway (especially if coming from Menlo Park or places north), you could also take El Camino Real to the University Ave./Palm Drive exit, then follow the directions from Palm Drive.

The parking lot in question is a reserved lot (permit only). There are paid parking garages in the area, or you can ask your host to provide you with a day permit to hang in your car.
